Retiring administrators paperwork deadline is March 1 to ensure recognition at 2019 Administrative Service Awards

The 2019 Ohio University Outstanding Administrator and Administrative Service Awards Ceremony will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, in the Walter Hall Rotunda.

Administrators who are considering retiring prior to July 1 are reminded that their paperwork must be submitted to University Human Resources by March 1 in order to be recognized at this year’s ceremony.

If your retirement paperwork does not reach Human Resources by March 1, Administrative Senate cannot guarantee that you will be recognized at the 2019 ceremony and you may be recognized the following year.

About 150 OHIO administrators are expected to be honored at this year’s ceremony, which will celebrate employees who have served the University for 10 years or more, recognize retiring administrators, and highlight administrators who have exemplified a strong commitment and distinguished service to the University.

The 2019 Outstanding Administrator and Administrative Service Awards Ceremony is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by Ohio University’s Administrative Senate. Refreshments will be served.
