The OHIO Alumni Association is pleased to announce that the 2019 Black Alumni Reunion will be held Sept. 12-15 in Athens, Ohio.

A signature alumni weekend held every three years on Ohio University’s Athens campus, the Black Alumni Reunion (BAR) welcomes home the University’s black alumni with activities designed to connect and engage the Bobcat family. It’s OHIO’s largest alumni reunion outside of Homecoming. The weekend, which is open to all alumni and friends, will feature a mix of casual and formal events, including opportunities to network and learn as well as entertaining and festive celebrations.

In selecting the dates for this year’s reunion, the OHIO Alumni Association consulted with both the alumni community and campus partners. There will not be a home football game during the weekend. The Bobcats will be on the road at nearby Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, on Saturday, Sept. 14.
