Facilities Management and Safety launches Employee of the Month program

Want to show your appreciation for the Ohio University staff who keep the heat on, sidewalks cleared, trash emptied, water running, and more? Ohio University Facilities Management and Safety (FMS) launched an Employee of the Month program in February to recognize exceptional performance by their employees. All OHIO employees are invited to nominate FMS employees for this award using the nomination form on the FMS website. Nominations will be accepted at any time during the year.

A selection committee made up of employees representing different areas of Facilities Management and Safety will select the Employee of the Month award recipients.

“This new award provides us with another opportunity to show our appreciation for the important work that FMS employees do,” said Chief Facilities Officer Steve Wood. “Our employees often go above and beyond in performing their jobs and we are excited have another tool to recognize their service and dedication to Ohio University.”
