Candidates for Vice President of University Communication and Marketing to visit campus

Ohio University President M. Duane Nellis shared the following message with the campus community.

Dear OHIO students, faculty and staff: 

Three finalists for the position of Vice President for University Communication and Marketing will interview on Ohio University’s Athens Campus beginning April 12.

As part of the interview process, the University community will have an opportunity to interact with the candidates during open forums where they will deliver a brief presentation and answer questions from students, faculty and staff. A separate forum will also be provided specifically for faculty.

Open forums for all students, faculty and staff will take place on the following dates and times. All of these events will also be live-streamed to anyone with a University ID and password, and ASL interpreters will be provided.   • Friday, April 12, 2019 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. in Tupper 102
  • Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. in Tupper 204
  • Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. in Multicultural Center Room, Baker 219

Feedback on each candidate will be solicited anonymously of all students, faculty and staff via an online survey.

The search firm is allotting time for finalists to notify their employers of this opportunity. We will share more information about each candidate in the coming days.
