Parents Weekend to take place Sept. 20-22

The first Family Weekend of the year is quickly approaching. Parents and families of Bobcats who are eager to take part in the OHIO experience are invited to visit campus during Parents Weekend Friday, Sept. 20 through Sunday, Sept. 22. 

The OHIO community has a vast array of activities and events planned for the weekend including a welcome reception, ziplining, comedy show, great food, magician performance, hikes, football and more!

Visit the Family Weekends website for event, food, lodging and parking information to register for top tier events and connect with resources to plan a stay in Athens. 

“We hope those family members who did not get a chance to stay long during move-in will return to enjoy a weekend with their students as they get to know all OHIO has to offer,” said Josh Gruenke, associate director for the Campus Involvement Center. “We have a wide variety of experiences lined up to entertain and connect families with our beautiful campus and the Athens community.” 

Families interested in purchasing Bobcat Football tickets can either combine with other event registrations here, or go directly through the athletics purchasing system.
