University community to discuss the future of education Nov. 21

Ohio University will host a daylong engagement event for the University community to discuss the future of education and offer ideas to support the University’s Fearlessly First strategy. The engagement event will facilitate small group discussion and the ability to brainstorm creative solutions that align with our strategic planning framework.

The event, open to all students, faculty and staff, will take place at Baker University Center room 242 between the hours of 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21. This will follow the November Breakfast for Progress meeting led by Ohio University President M. Duane Nellis for leadership from every facet of OHIO’s shared governance structure, which will focus on launching the Reimagine the Academic Enterprise priority in our Fearlessly First strategic framework.

There will also be opportunities for online participation and submission of ideas and questions through the website.

To request an ASL interpreter or other accommodation to participate, please contact Laura Risler at risler@ohio.edu or 740-593-2575 by Tuesday, Nov. 19.
