Current status of University buildings available online

Due to the world’s coronavirus pandemic, Ohio University Facilities Management and Safety (FMS) has created a page that lists the current operating status of buildings on all six campuses.

In addition to normal status, all buildings are listed by campus in alphabetical order as closed, restricted or limited. Here are the definitions of the three changes in status.

Closed: No one should have access without calling Facilities Management and Safety in advance to schedule access.

Restricted: Closed to visitors, both internal and external. Offices may be occupied, but no one external to the building occupants needs access.

Limited: Closed to the external community. Ohio University students, faculty and staff have access via swipe card entry, but no one else.

All building closures or restrictions require vice president or dean review and approval.
