Guide to campus study spaces now available
Ohio University has created a guide to study spaces that Ohio University students on the Athens and regional campuses may use this fall.
The guide, which can be viewed on the Be Safe Bobcats site, lists areas where students can safely study while meeting social distancing guidelines. In accordance with University policy, masks must be worn at all times in study spaces.
“The University has worked over the summer to identify appropriate spaces that can best meet student study needs,” said Neil Romanosky, dean of University Libraries. “We will continue to evaluate and open up additional areas as needed in which students can maintain a safe distance while studying.”
On the Athens Campus, the study spaces are available at various locations in Alden Library and Baker University Center during phase 1 of the fall semester.
On the regional campuses, the guide highlights rooms within Bennett Hall, Stevenson Center, Shannon Hall, Brasee Hall, Herrold Hall, Elson Hall, Collins Center, Dingus Technology Center and the Academic Center of the Southern Campus that students may use.
