Read more about Flint below.

How does your past or current professional life impact the way you teach IHS courses, and vice versa?

My professional career has involved working on academic and applied research in the social sciences, which informs how I think about teaching research planning. My work experience has also inspired me to look for ways to continuously improve what I do and to try to make my teaching relevant and accessible.

What activities do you enjoy outside of work?

I enjoy being in nature, cooking and traveling.

What are some words of wisdom you would like to share with the students?

Find what inspires you – and don’t be shy about asking for help.  Even though it can sometimes feel less accessible remotely, IHS and the university community have a wealth of resources, knowledge, and experience to share.
