Campus COVID-19 vaccine clinic planned for Monday

Students, faculty, staff, and community members can get a free COVID-19 vaccine at a walk-in clinic on campus from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 14.

No appointment is necessary. The clinic, hosted by the Athens City-County Health Department, will be held at Heritage Hall on Union Street.

Attendees can choose to receive a first or second dose of the Pfizer vaccine, or the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Those getting a first dose of Pfizer will need to get a second dose approximately 21 days later.

Those OHIO students, faculty, and staff who are fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination do not have to participate in asymptomatic testing as part of the COVID-19 Testing Pathway Program. Ohio University encourages all employees to be vaccinated if they are able, though it is not required.

There is no cost for the vaccines at the clinic, but please bring your insurance card if you have one.

Free parking is available across Union Street in the West Union Street Office Center lot. For those with limited mobility, accessible parking is available on the East side of Heritage Hall.
