COVID-19 protocol remains in effect during winter break, asymptomatic testing available this week

Students, faculty, and staff who experience COVID-19 symptoms, are exposed to COVID-19, or test positive for COVID during winter break are expected to follow the OHIO COVID-19 Protocol.

COVID Operations’ team of COVID Campus Liaisons is available by phone (740-566-8445) and email (COVIDoperations@ohio.edu) Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and noon to 5 p.m. on weekends, except for the following holiday hours:

Friday, Dec. 24, 2021: Noon – 5 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021: Noon – 5 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 26, 2021: Noon – 5 p.m.

Monday, Dec. 27, 2021: Noon – 5 p.m.

Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021: Noon – 5 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021: Noon – 5 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022: Noon – 5 p.m. Asymptomatic COVID-19 testing is still available at the Vault Health testing center on the Athens Campus through Dec. 17 for students, faculty, and staff who would like to test before holiday travel. Individuals on regional campuses can pick up pick up take-home Vault Health tests at any campus. This is a saliva test and results are available in 48-72 hours.
