OIT to host upcoming Tech Forum: Supporting Teaching Using OHIO’s Technology Infrastructure
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) will be hosting a Tech Forum for faculty to discuss how technology supports the continued evolution of innovations in teaching and learning environments beyond the pandemic.
The forum will be held on Wednesday, February 9 from 12:00 - 1:15 p.m. It will be a hybrid event, with an option to participate in person at Alden Library 322 or remotely via Microsoft Teams.
The forum will consist of a brief technology showcase, breakout sessions, and a facilitated discussion. Faculty participants will be invited to share their best practices using existing technologies, discuss adaptations to shift between in-person, online, and hybrid teaching, and collaborate on new ideas to integrate technology in day-to-day teaching.
IT Service Owners will use the feedback and ideas generated during the forum to better understand faculty’s technology concerns and identify gaps in current IT service offerings.
