Accessing your electronic W-2 in My Personal Information

Ohio University electronic W-2s are now available for the 2021 tax year online through My Personal Information (MPI). If you opted-in to receive your W-2 electronically, you can easily access it by following these steps:

  1. Log in to MPI at myhr.ohio.edu.
  2. In the left navigation menu, click on My Personal Information to expand the menu options.
  3. Select W-2 Wage and Tax Statements.
  4. Select the W-2 PDF for the 2021 year by clicking on the Adobe icon.
  5. Your W-2 PDF will appear.

To save the PDF, follow the prompts as if you were going to print the document. When the print dialog box appears, select Save as PDF in the Destination field. Click Save. Attempting to download the W-2 PDF while viewing in your browser will not work. This will download a .htm file type and produce an error when you attempt to open it. Please note, you are responsible for the security of all your downloaded documents, including your W-2 PDF.
