Volunteers needed for Spring 2022 Commencement ceremonies

Volunteers from the Ohio University community are needed to support the Spring 2022 commencement ceremonies. Commencement is the culminating event for all students at Ohio University, and help is needed.

The Spring 2022 commencement ceremonies will be held in the Convocation Center on Friday, April 29, at 9:30 a.m., for the Graduate Ceremony and Saturday, April 30, at 9:30 a.m., and 2:00 p.m., for the two undergraduate ceremonies. Each ceremony is estimated to last between 2 and 2.5 hours.

Spring commencement volunteer sign-ups will remain open through April 25. Registered volunteers will receive email communications from Event Services staff regarding assignments and volunteer training opportunities. Lunch is provided to those who volunteer for both ceremonies on Saturday. Refreshments will be available for all volunteers on Friday and Saturday. 

College Table Assistant volunteers for each college to check in students will be sent a separate survey.
