Ohio University Lancaster Celebrates 132 Graduates

Ohio University Lancaster honored 132 graduates at a Graduation Recognition Ceremony held on Thursday, April 28. The Class of 2022 received 30 associates degree, 101 bachelor’s degrees and 1 master’s degree.

The 2022 Alumna of the Year award was given to Dr. Carri Brown, Fairfield County Auditor, who graduated with bachelor and master’s degrees in Business Administration from Ohio University. She also holds a Doctorate in Organizational Management. The recipient of the 2022 Professor of the Year went to Dr. Kevin Cordi, assistant professor of teacher education, for his commitment to students and an inclusive learning environment.

In addition, two faculty members received prestigious regional higher education awards from Ohio University. Dr. Nikki Blau, associate professor of communication studies, received the 2022 RHE Outstanding Tenure Track Faculty Member award. Dr. Debra Blau, associate professor of instruction, received the 2022 RHE Outstanding Instructional Faculty Member award.
