Summer youth and teen programs with the College of Fine Arts

Ohio University's College of Fine Arts is offering a wide range of summer youth and teen programs once again this summer. 

The Summer Arts for Youth and the Summer Pre-College Programs offer a variety of outstanding programs for elementary, middle school and high school students from the region.

Summer Arts for Youth

The Summer Arts for Youth programs include high-quality, community-driven programs from Athens Community Music School and Tantrum Theater as well as medium-specific, exploratory offerings in Art + Design. Across the different programs, elementary and middle-school students will work alongside practicing artists and performers from the University community to develop and realize their ideas and their potential. The programs include the following:

June 13–17, 2022

July 5–8, 2022 

July 11– 15, 2022

July 18–22, 2022

Summer Pre-College Programs

Summer Pre-College Programs in the Fine Arts are a unique experience where students ages 14-18 work with award-winning artists to improve skills and techniques, create meaningful personal work, and earn college credit. The summer programs include the following:

Session 1: June 6–17, 2022

Session 2: June 20–24, 2022
