Familiarize yourself with OHIO’s classroom technology setup
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) has been hard at work this summer putting together resources to make it easier than ever to learn about the technology in OHIO classrooms.
- The new getting started with technology packages webpage (opens in a new window) walks you through how to find the technology in OHIO classrooms (opens in a new window) and offers user guides (opens in a new window) for all the components in each room.
- Prefer a hands-on learning experience? Attend a Learning Spaces workshop (opens in a new window)! OIT offers workshops that walk you through the technology in small and medium classrooms (1-98 seats), large classrooms (99+ seats), Schoonover 450, and Irvine 194/199.
- The Classroom Help Hub (ohio.edu/classroom-help (opens in a new window)) is your one stop for common classroom technology help, such as troubleshooting microphones (opens in a new window) or setting up wireless display projection (opens in a new window).
OIT staff members are always pleased to receive your feedback on the technology available in your classroom and how OIT can continue improving the help resources. Attend the next Learning Spaces Advisory Community meeting (opens in a new window) on Thursday, Aug. 11, from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. in Irvine 194 or via Microsoft Teams (opens in a new window) to learn more and contribute to the conversation.
