LGBT Center and OutOHIO announce Welcome Week events

The LGBT Center and OutOHIO (opens in a new window) (OHIO’s LGBTQ+ Affinity Organization) invite faculty and staff who are members or allies of the LGBTQ+ community to a series of events geared toward building community, networking, and fun.

The Welcome Week events include:

• Virtual LGBTQ+  Community Welcome: Friday, August 19, 2022, from 4-5  p.m. Virtually meet the staff of the LGBT Center and connect with others in the LGBTQ+ community! Please see this webpage for more information (opens in a new window).
• Welcome Week Drag Show: Friday, August 26, from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Baker Center Ballroom. Featuring headliner Silky Nutmeg Ganache as well as local drag performers Kazma Knights, Jack, and Cloe Angel. Please see this webpage for more information (opens in a new window).
• LGBT Center Open House: Friday, August 26, from 8:30-10 p.m. in Baker University Center Room 348. Masks requested. Please see this webpage for more information (opens in a new window).
• Walk and Roll Social Event: Saturday, August 27 from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the West State Street Park and Larry’s Dawg House. Participants will meet at the West State Street Park to walk and/or roll a loop on the bike path and then gather at Larry’s Dawg House in a reserved space afterwards.
