New eLearning Platform Available to OHIO Faculty and Staff

Ohio University has transitioned to Skillsoft’s updated eLearning platform, Percipio.

Skillsoft’s earlier platform, Skillport, has been used by OHIO staff and faculty for three years to support a wide variety of professional development opportunities, and the new platform offers an enhanced experience by providing robust content curation and progress tracking capabilities.

New features of the platform include the following:

• 4,000 “on-demand” learning assets, such as e-learning modules, videos, books, and study materials for professional certification exams
• Personalized learning management
• Improved self-tracking tools for learning progress
• Expanded library of eLearning resources
• Productivity enhancement tools to help incorporate professional development into weekly scheduling

Users who have completed eLearning modules in Skillport will see all progress completing Skillport eLearning modules transferred over to the new system in the coming weeks.
