Technology Review request form moving to Technology Help Center

The Technology Help Center located at help.ohio.edu will soon be the new home of the Technology Review process. 

For many years, faculty and staff have had to initiate the Technology Review process by submitting a Qualtrics survey. This survey was often cumbersome, difficult to navigate, and once you submitted your request, you had no way to see where it was in the approval process.

By moving the Technology Review request form to the Technology Help Center, you will always be able to see where any of your requests are within the approval process by selecting “View my Tickets” on the Technology Help Center homepage. Since the requests will function as tickets, you can easily ask questions or provide updates for your request by simply adding a comment to the existing ticket. Additionally, the request form has been simplified and is easier to use.

The new request form will become officially available on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022. As you submit Technology Review requests using the new form, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) is appreciative of any feedback you might be willing to share. (You must be logged in to your OHIO account to access the feedback form.)  OIT will use this feedback to refine the new process and its documentation.
