Division of Diversity and Inclusion to host Jollof Festival and end of semester Multicultural Mix and Mingle

The Division of Diversity and Inclusion is pleased to host the inaugural Jollof Festival on Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, at 5 p.m. in Baker University Center Room 240/242. All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend.

Jollof is a popular rice dish from West Africa. It has been a staple meal in different African countries such as Senegal, Nigeria, and Ghana.

The Jollof Festival will bring together the different versions of jollof from five countries and it will be a time to learn more about the origins of this meal and how it has evolved over the years. There will be enough to taste and finally, an opportunity to vote for the country that makes the best jollof.

The entire University community is invited to stop by, taste the different versions, and vote for the best.
