Division of Diversity and Inclusion to host 2023 Martin Luther King Jr. celebration
Ohio University will commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with OHIO’s annual week-long celebration beginning with a Silent March and Brunch on Monday, Jan. 16, 2023, with events to follow throughout the week. The theme for the 2023 celebration is a tribute to one of Dr. King’s most well-known traits: Compassion: The Key to Justice.
As is tradition at OHIO, the celebration kicks off with a Silent March, hosted by members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. The march meets at 10 a.m. at Galbreath Chapel on College Green. To follow is the MLK Jr. Celebratory Brunch in Baker Ballroom from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
