Ohio University accepting nominations for The Ohio University Foundation Board of Trustees
Ohio University invites faculty, staff, alumni, and friends to submit nominations for the Ohio University Foundation Board of Trustees until Dec. 2, 2022.
The Ohio University Foundation serves as the fundraising arm of the University and is governed by a board of trustees committed to assisting the Foundation in its mission to enrich OHIO by building relationships and securing private support that transforms lives and makes excellence possible.
The board’s Membership Committee is seeking nominations for new trustees who will be appointed to the board in June 2023. The deadline to submit nominations for consideration in Dec. 2, 2022
The Membership Committee is looking for nominees who will support the Ohio University Foundation’s mission to enrich University life by building relationships and securing private support that transforms lives and makes excellence possible. The committee is looking for members who provide a diversity of thought, background, geography, gender, sexual orientation, and race. Special consideration will be given to candidates who broaden the collective understanding by uplifting diverse identities, cultures, experiences, and perspectives. In addition, the committee is seeking candidates that possess significant institutional investment experience.
All nominations must be made through an online portal using this link: NOMINATION and require a one-page letter of support. The letter of support serves to elaborate or highlight how the candidate meets the needs listed above. While the nominator may not have complete information on the individual being nominated, the form should be completed to the best of the nominator’s ability. No additional support documents will be reviewed by the Membership Committee, so please submit only the form and the letter of support.
