Executive Staff Policy Committee approves updates to public records requests policy
The Executive Staff Policy Committee (ESPC) has approved a new version of policy 40.007: Public Records Requests.
The new version of the policy includes updates and structural changes since the last revision in 2008. Revisions reflect best practices to ensure compliance with the Ohio Public Records Act by providing greater emphasis to the public records request process. As a reminder, any University employee who receives a public records request is required to immediately forward the request to the public records compliance officer. All offices that maintain records that could be responsive are required to assist the public records compliance coordinator with identification and retrieval of responsive records.
