Last call for student Leadership Awards applications

Applications are now being accepted for the 40th annual student Leadership Awards. Undergraduates, graduate students, and student organizations across all Ohio University campuses are eligible to apply. Applications close on Feb. 1, 2023, at 11:59 pm. 

Established in 1984, OHIO’s Leadership Awards bring much deserved attention to students and student organizations who demonstrate exceptional commitment to the Bobcat community. The program is a longstanding tradition for the Division of Student Affairs and has partnered in recent years with the Division of Diversity and Inclusion to highlight a broad diversity of award categories that represent the impact of student leadership across many interest areas.

Students should visit the event website for a full listing of the awards, scholarships and application criteria. Prospective applicants are welcome to apply to as many awards as they feel they qualify for through the single application form. 

Following the application deadline, selections committees made up of faculty, staff, alumni, and graduate students will evaluate redacted submissions and select top applicants for recognition. All honorees will be notified in early March. The event is scheduled to take place in Baker Ballroom on April 19.
