The 40th Annual Leadership Awards to be held April 19

The Division of Student Affairs announced the 40th Annual Leadership Awards event, celebrating the outstanding leadership and community service of students and student organizations across Ohio University to be held this spring. The program is hosted in partnership with the Division of Diversity and Inclusion.

On April 19, more than two dozen awards and scholarships will be granted to students and student organizations for their hard work and commitment to the OHIO community. This year’s awardees were selected from a very competitive pool of applicants, with over 1,500 applications submitted.

The awards are broken into four categories: diversity and allyship, outstanding leadership, service, and student organizations. Each category represents multiple awards granted to the top applicant who demonstrated their admirable work throughout the 2022-2023 school year.

The annual Leadership Awards were established in 1983 to bring much-deserved attention to the exceptional leaders at OHIO. Throughout the years, multiple awards and scholarships have been established to fill the gap of deserving leaders in all aspects of the community.

The event will take place Wednesday, April 19, at 6 p.m. in Baker Ballroom and refreshments will be served. There will also be the opportunity to tune in virtually. RSVP today to confirm your attendance.
