OUPD to remove abandoned bikes on Athens Campus in June

The Ohio University Police Department (OUPD) will remove all abandoned bikes on the Athens Campus in June.

OUPD will mark all bikes on campus with colored ribbons in May. Owners who do not want their bikes removed will need to remove the ribbons from their bicycles. OUPD will remove all bikes that still have the ribbons attached to them during the sweep in June.

Collected bikes that are not claimed will eventually sold by Ohio University.
