Summer conversations: ChatGPT and AI considerations in teaching and learning

ChatGPT and AI, and other programs like it, require instructors to consistently re-evaluate course design, assignment design, course policies, rationales for academic integrity and transparency to students.

To continue the discussion around this ever-evolving technology in the classroom that began in spring 2023 with a Faculty Learning Community, instructors are invited to join CTLA staff and collaborators for two virtual summer conversations on ChatGPT and AI, one during the first summer session, and one during the second summer session.

These conversations will be facilitated around current developments in higher education and ChatGPT/AI and instructional concerns and strategies. Those registering will be invited to submit questions or topics to inform the agenda.

The first summer conversation is scheduled for noon to 1 p.m., on Thursday, June 1, and participants may register here.

The second summer conversation is scheduled for noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, and participants may register here
