Troy Bonte, Jonathon Cozad named to permanent leadership positions in Finance and Administration

Ohio University Vice President for Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer Mark Heil has announced that Troy Bonte has been named Associate Vice President for Facilities and Safety and Jonathon Cozad has been named as Associate Vice President of Design and Construction. 

Bonte was named as interim associate vice president for facilities and safety and Cozad was named as interim vice president of design and construction in September 2022 when Steve Wood retired as the senior associate vice president for facilities management and safety and chief facilities officer.

“Troy Bonte and Jon Cozad both moved seamlessly into their interim roles and excelled in their work in this last year. I am proud that they will now be serving in these permanent positions,” Heil said. “They have both shown outstanding leadership and are valued members of the division leadership team.”

Bonte first joined Ohio University in March 2022 after holding leadership positions in facilities management and planning at Otterbein University, Washington and Jefferson College, and Capital University.

Cozad has been with Ohio University since November 2016. Prior to joining OHIO, he led a multi-disciplinary project team for the United States Air Force.
