Revised Exit Interview Program at Ohio University coming Fall of 2023, Spring of 2024
In collaboration with Ohio University partners, University Human Resources (UHR) has revised the Ohio University Exit Interview process.
The revised process was developed to provide exiting Ohio University employees with an opportunity to share insights and recommendations prior to leaving the employment of the University. The intent is for Ohio University to learn about employee experiences in order to identify areas of strength as well as potential areas for improvement.
The revised Exit Interview process includes an online survey and an optional follow-up exit interview. Staff may opt to interview with a representative of University Human Resources. Faculty may opt to interview with a representative from University Human Resources and/or their Department Chair or School Director.
Exit interview data from all departing staff and faculty members will be aggregated based on employee classification (staff or faculty) and presented annually to senior leadership in a summary report. Exit Interviews will also be combined with other means to collect employee feedback.
The revised Exit Interview process for staff will go into effect in October 2023. The process for faculty will go into effect in March 2024.
