OHIO faculty, staff asked to assist with academic reputation survey project

Ohio University is asking faculty and staff to assist with an academic reputation survey project.

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Analysis has been asked by the QS World Rankings Survey to put together a list of partners who work with Ohio University.

Faculty and staff are invited to submit the names and contact information of individuals at other colleges or universities who are familiar with Ohio University and its programs. These individuals should also be willing to participate in an online survey about the University’s academic reputation.

The survey responses of these individuals comprise a significant portion of the QS score and are critical to the University’s ranking.

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Analysis appreciates any help that OHIO faculty and staff can provide in identifying appropriate individuals for this purpose. All submissions are welcome and appreciated.

Submissions of individuals who work at international institutions are especially encouraged due to how those submissions positively impact the QS score.

Because academic rankings can impact grant funding opportunities and the ability to recruit top students, Ohio University has prioritized efforts to increase participation and enhance our standing in various forms of university rankings.

For more information or to submit nominations, please see the Office of Institutional Effectiveness & Analytics webpage at https://www.ohio.edu/iea/faculty-staff-data/qsdataform

The deadline for 2025 Ranking Cycle is Friday, Jan. 12, 2024.
