Ohio University Chillicothe to host alumni, faculty, staff and student art show
Ohio University Chillicothe’s Patricia Scott Art Gallery will feature an exhibition of artwork by alumni, faculty, staff and students beginning with an opening reception at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 4.
Alumni, students, faculty and staff who wish to submit art are asked to submit an artist application by March 18, 2024, and drop off artwork by March 21. Submissions can be dropped off in the dean’s suite on the first floor of Bennett Hall Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
"Art plays an important part in our lives and we are excited to showcase the talents and creativity of our campus and our community,” said Dean of Campus and Community Relations Roberta Milliken.
This exhibit invites art enthusiasts and the community at large to witness the collective brilliance that emerges when individual inspirations converge. The artworks on display serve as a testament to the power of artistic diversity, encouraging dialogue and fostering a deeper appreciation for the vast spectrum of human creativity.
The exhibition runs through Thursday, May 16, 2024. The OHIO Chillicothe Patricia Scott Art Gallery, located on the first floor of Bennett Hall, is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
