OHIO community invited to April 25 ice cream socials on Athens, regional campuses

Ohio University will host ice cream socials for all students, faculty and staff on the Athens and regional campuses on Thursday, April 25.

From 2 – 4 p.m. that day, the student and employee appreciation events will be held on the Athens, Chillicothe, Eastern, Lancaster, Southern and Zanesville campuses. All students, faculty and staff are invited to enjoy ice cream treats and spend time together during the afternoon event.

The Athens Campus event will be held on the College Green and will include appearances from the Marching 110 and Rufus. Throughout the event, members of the President’s Cabinet will be scooping up ice cream to celebrate the end of the semester.

On the five regional campuses, the ice cream socials will be held at the following locations:

• Chillicothe Campus, Bennett Hall
• Eastern Campus, Shannon Hall
• Lancaster Campus, Brasee Hall
• Southern Campus, Collins Center 
• Zanesville Campus, Elson Hall

The student and employee appreciation events are being sponsored by the Office of the President.
