Test courses now available in Canvas for all OHIO instructors

To aid the transition to Canvas, OHIO’s new learning management system, all instructors now have a test course available in their Canvas account. Test courses can be leveraged to explore Canvas features or used to build content for future “real” courses.

In order to find your Canvas test course:

1. Log in to Canvas at canvas.ohio.edu
2. Your test course should appear on your Canvas Dashboard and in your Courses tab in the left navigation menu. The course name will include “Instructor Test Course” and your OHIO ID.

Exploring and setting up your test course is a great way to get started with Canvas.

In addition, 24/7 Canvas support is available for all OHIO faculty, staff, and students. Within Canvas, select “Get Help” in the left navigation menu to start a call or chat with Canvas support. This is a great resource for all Canvas features and course-building questions.
