Health screening program upgrades to new scheduling system

Ohio University’s employee well-being program, Healthy OHIO, has announced that this fall’s on-campus screening events will utilize a new scheduling system aimed at streamlining the appointment experience.

The Athens on-campus screening events will occur on Sept. 19 at the FlexSpace offices in The Ridges and on Oct. 23 at Baker University Center. A new portal will streamline the experience by allowing registrants to complete their consent forms online prior to the event.

Eligible employees/spouses/partners will first receive an activation email on Sept. 3. Once logged in, they will utilize the OhioHealth Employer Solutions (OHES) Portal using the Enterprise Health (EH) platform. This portal is used for Onsite Wellness services provided by OhioHealth Employer Solutions.

Participants should note that this new platform is not linked to OhioHealth MyChart so they will need to activate this portal even if they have an existing MyChart account through OhioHealth.

Employees eligible for this benefit as of July 16 will receive an activation email from "noreply-workhealthresults@ohiohealth.com" on or before Sept. 3. The email will contain an individualized activation code to support registration. Employees with a spouse/partner on their medical plan will receive the email for their spouse/partner and should forward that message.

Full instructions for scheduling a screening are available on the Healthy OHIO website.

Eligible participants will earn $60 back on the pay slip of the benefits-carrier in addition to receiving immediate results and support from event facilitators.

If an individual cannot attend one of the on-campus events, they can schedule an appointment at WorkHealth Athens or submit a Physician Screening Form.

Questions can be directed to Annie Laurie Cadmus, associate director of Healthy OHIO, at cadmus@ohio.edu or 740-593-9458.
