OUPD to offer active aggressor training sessions during fall semester

As part of the Ohio University Police Department’s commitment to public safety education, the department is hosting several active aggressor training sessions during the fall semester.

Free to all OHIO students, faculty and staff, the training sessions are provided each year to encourage and promote discussion about active aggressor situations. The training also helps participants learn how to be more prepared should an incident occur.

The Fall 2024 training will be presented by the Ohio University Police Department (OUPD) on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, Sept. 24 – Noon until 1 p.m. in Baker University Center 239
  • Thursday, Oct. 3 – Noon until 1 p.m. in Baker University Center 230
  • Wednesday, Oct. 23 – Noon until 1 p.m. in Baker University Center 237

Participants need to only attend one session. No registration is necessary. For more information, contact OUPD Community Relations Officer Evan Wilkof at  wilkof@ohio.edu
