Ask the Experts: Waste not around the holidays
Tis the season for giving, spending time with loved ones and copious amounts of food.
On this episode of Ask the Experts, we talk with Thom Stevenson, an associate professor of instruction in the Patton College of Education, on how to be more consciousness this holiday season when buying, preparing and saving food around the holidays. He provides examples of how to best repurpose leftovers into creative dishes and how to ensure people are wasting as little food as possible.
He also discusses food insecurity, especially around the holidays, and what we as a community can do to ensure no one goes hungry.
Produced by Ohio University’s Communications and Marketing Department, specifically by Scripps College of Communication senior media production student Logan Jeffries, the Ask the Experts podcast allows for even more interdisciplinary collaboration and for students to develop a podcast from start to finish using OHIO’s podcast studio in the Scripps College of Communication.
