OHIO faculty, staff invited to April 11 programs on community engaged scholars, research

Ohio University faculty and administrators are invited to two upcoming events on focused on the Community Engaged Scholars program and Community Engaged Research.

Community Engaged Scholars Program Information Session

Interested in integrating community engagement into your teaching? Join this special information session to learn more about Ohio University’s Community Engaged Scholars Program. The program is a professional development opportunity focused on critical approaches to service-learning, community-engaged curriculum development, and best practices for connecting with local community partners.

The information session will be held from 11 a.m. until noon in McGuffey Hall, Room 106 on April 11.

Community Engaged Research Open Forum

All OHIO faculty and administrators are invited to join Community Engaged Research Fellow Dr. Rachel Terman for the Community Engaged Research Forum.

The forum will feature discussions on exploring best practices and successful strategies for community engaged research, identifying training needs and resource gaps, and connecting and collaborating with colleagues.

The open forum will be held from  1-4 p.m. in the Walter Student Success Center, Conference Room 106 on April 11.
