OHIO shares an update regarding the status of the Advance Ohio Education Act

Yesterday (March 19), the Ohio House of Representatives passed an amended version of Senate Bill 1: Advance Ohio Higher Education Act. The amended version of the bill will now return to the Ohio Senate for a concurrence vote. If the Senate votes to concur with the House changes, the bill would then move to the Governor’s office for his consideration.

The University will continue to closely monitor this bill’s progress as it moves through the legislative process, and we will continue to provide relevant updates to our University community, including details regarding operational next steps should a version of this bill ultimately become law.
