Entire NewsWatch staff, 4 individual students receive national recognition for WOUB work

The entire WOUB “NewsWatch“ staff won the Best All-Around Television Newscast award for an episode that aired on Sept. 27, 2024, as part of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) 2024 Mark of Excellence Awards in Region 4.

In addition, four individual Ohio University students were named winners or finalists for journalism work they did in the WOUB Public Media newsroom.
