Ohio University's Fitness program is located in Ping Recreation Center and is available to university students, staff, faculty, alumni and community members who are Ping Recreation Center members. University Well-Being & Recreation's Fitness program provides group fitness & F45 classes, personal training, a variety of Fitness Programs and special events! 

These services and programs are specifically designed to help you develop your sense of Purpose, enhance your capacity for Resilience, help you build lasting Relationships and assist you in Achieving your goals. Welcome Week Sunrise Yoga

Start your day with serenity and set a positive tone for the semester by joining us for Sunrise Welcome Week Yoga! This energizing and grounding yoga session is designed to help you connect with your breath, stretch out any tension, and embrace the new day with mindfulness and calm. Women & Weights

Join us for Women & Weights, a transformative semester-long weightlifting program designed exclusively for women! This program is more than just a fitness routine—it's a supportive community where women come together to lift, grow, and thrive.

In Women & Weights, you'll find a positive and safe space to work out, learn new techniques, and build physical and mental strength. Whether you're new to weightlifting or looking to refine your skills, our program is tailored to help you achieve your personal fitness goals with the encouragement of like-minded women by your side.

Club Cycle

This 45-minute cycle class will help increase your cardiovascular endurance as it leads you to pedal your way through a variety of resistance hills, climbs and intervals. There is no complicated choreography with easy to learn techniques. Intensity is controlled by you, making cycling appropriate for all levels of fitness. Enjoy this upbeat class in a club-like atmosphere!

Cycle + Yoga = Spinyasa!

This 60-minute class of cycling and yoga will have you working up a sweat! Spinyasa is a fusion-fitness class that includes 30 minutes of cycling folllowed by 30 minutes of vinyasa yoga. Start off the class with a cardiovascular workout followed by poses and stretches to restore the body! Registration opens 23 hours before each class!

F45 Playoffs

Test your fitness with fellow F45'ers in Well-Being & Recreation's F45 Games competition! This 45-minute competition will be a TEAM based, REP based event. Teams of two (pairs) will compete in a cardio-based workout trying to max out on the most amount of REPS all together. Each member will complete one lap with a coach tracking along the way. After 3 laps, all REPS from each member will be totaled together and the team with the MOST cumulative number of REPS will WIN!
