Prathana Dodia, M.S.
Prathana Dodia (M.S.) earned a Master of Science degree with a focus in Psychology from India. Prathana is a passionate researcher with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Her research interests lie specifically in gender studies, identity, and the narration of mythological and religious texts. Over the years, Prathana has been working on exploring the societal representation of women as portrayed in mythology and widespread belief. She focuses on different mediums and narratives to study political and societal misconceptions of gender in today’s society. Her current research focuses on the reproductive rights of women in the US and India. Besides academics, Prathana loves being in nature, watching sunsets, reading books, and cooking.
