Outstanding Programming (Ongoing)
The mission of Ebony Minds is to educate students about the issues that African American people, specifically women, face both locally and nationally. They strive to unite all students through a variety of culturally enriching workshops and events. During the 2019-20 Academic Year, Ebony Minds hosted a number of programs on topics including mental health, Black women in writing, safety on Ohio University's Athens campus, living a healthy lifestyle, toxic masculinity/femininity and more.
