Dad's Weekend: Transportation & Parking Information- November 1-3, 2024
We would like to welcome all Bobcat family members planning to visit the Ohio University campus for Dad’s Weekend. Please see below for information about parking and transportation accommodations available during your stay.
Available Parking
Beginning Friday, November 1, 2024 at 12PM all dark green and purple parking lots will be open and available for guest parking. These parking areas will remain open until the end of the day Sunday, November 3, 2024. Please ensure vehicles are not parked within the grass, or other non-parking or restricted parking areas.
Transportation Options
- CATS Late Night is an on demand service available Friday from 5:30PM – 11PM as well as Saturday and Sunday from 6PM – 11PM. We encourage students/faculty/staff to schedule reservations in advance by downloading the TripShot App.
- Athens Public Transit is available to many campus and Athens area locations with service hours Monday through Friday 7:00AM – 9:30PM. No service on Saturday or Sunday. Ride fares start at $1, and students ride for free with their OHIO ID. For a full listing of routes visit the APT website or call 740-592-2727.
- Daily Campus Shuttles are available Friday from 7:30AM – 5:30PM and service main campus buildings including the Ridges and various parking locations. Download the TripShot app for live bus tracking.
