Casey Christopher
As a Business Development Officer for CenterState Bank’s Correspondent Division, Casey manages a customer portfolio of 200 community banks, marketing and selling correspondent banking products and services in Florida, Ohio and throughout the Northeast. CenterState is a publicly traded $16B commercial bank based out of Winter Haven, Florida. In 2017, Casey moved from Tampa to the chilly Northeast build the New York City Correspondent office.
Casey is passionate about collaborating with organizations that make our communities a better place to live and the banking industry a career destination for women and young people. She enjoys being a member of the New Jersey Bankers Association, Financial Women’s Association of NY and Financial Managers Society of NY/NJ. She is a member of the Florida Banker’s Association and attended the Florida School of Banking, earning The Dr. C. Arnold Matthews Honor Graduate Award upon graduation and is a co-founder of Florida Bankers Association’s Annual Florida Women in Banking Conference. Proud to be a lifelong learner, Casey is a graduate of The Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. In 2016, she was named a Tampa Bay Business Journal’s “Up and Comer Award” finalist. Most recently, she has begun serving as President of the New York League of Independent Bankers believing that strength in numbers can foster change!
She has proudly served on two Junior Women’s Leagues’ Public Affairs Committee for the past four years advocating at the local, state and federal level. She currently serves on the Junior Women’s League of Bergen County Board as their Membership VP and sits on the board for The Growing Stage Theater. In 2009, she began her term on the Ohio University Alumni Association Board of Directors, now serving on the Board of Trustees and Chairwoman of the National Alumni Board.
She especially likes creating new and impactful pathways to change. Process improvement and creating efficient procedures are her guilty pleasures.
Casey was raised in New Jersey and Ohio (resulting in a very awkward accent) and is a 2002 graduate of Ohio University. She resides in Westwood, New Jersey with her husband, Tom.
