TechGROWTH Ohio Wins Statewide Excellence Award for Outstanding Finance Program

TechGROWTH Ohio was recently awarded the 2015 Council of Development Finance Agencies (CDFA) Ohio Financing Roundtable Excellence Award for Program.

According to the CDFA award recognition, TechGROWTH Ohio earned the Excellence Award for Program because of their work in connecting entrepreneurs with assistance and offering valuable tools for growth and sources of funding to early-stage, technologically-innovative companies.

“TechGROWTH is funded by an Ohio Third Frontier grant with support from Ohio University and private capital,” states the award recognition. “TechGROWTH’s impact shows a leverage ratio of over $9 of follow-on resources acquired for client companies for every $1 of state money invested, achieving more than $218 million flowing into the Southeast Ohio region over its first seven years.”

The Council of Development Finance Agencies is a national association dedicated to the advancement of development finance concerns and interests. CDFA is comprised of the nation’s leading and most knowledgeable members of the development finance community representing public, private and non-profit entities.

The CDFA Ohio Financing Roundtable Annual Excellence Awards recognize outstanding development finance programs, agencies, leaders, projects and success stories.
