Gilbert Michaud, assistant professor of practice at Ohio University’s Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs, co-authored Equitable Community Solar, which was highlighted by Cleveland Owns.

The report describes 30 policies and program guidelines for community solar programs that promote economic and racial equity while providing an immediate economic boost to the area.

Michaud told Cleveland Owns,

“Cleveland can launch an innovative community solar program that builds on programs done by other municipal electric utilities and states by adding a racial and economic equity lens.”
