Founder Story: Third Sun Solar

Third Sun Solar designs solar panel systems that help people become energy independent. Each system is custom designed to meet customers’ individual solar needs and goals. The startup in Athens, Ohio, worked with TechGROWTH and the Ohio University Innovation Center, two Ohio Third Frontier partners in southeast Ohio. TechGROWTH provided funding for marketing, hiring new employees and developing the company website. The Innovation Center housed the Third Sun Solar offices as the company grew from two to more than 20 employees. Third Sun Solar is currently working on projects throughout the midwest.
