HAPCAP: Improving Quality of Life in Southeast Ohio

Learn from MPA alumnae Kelly Hatas as she talks about her role as the executive director of the Hocking Athens Perry Community Action (HAPCAP), the history of their work in improving quality of life in SE Ohio through innovative programs, and how they’re responding to the impacts of COVID-19. She will highlight the agency’s initiatives in housing, transportation, food & nutrition, and utilities programs. Kelly will also discuss how the agency has drastically pivoted their work to meet the needs emerging in our vulnerable communities during the pandemic.
