What is Bobcat Buddies?
Bobcat Buddies pairs recent Ohio University graduates with incoming first-year students with the purpose of developing an informal and fun mentorship connection!
Recent alumni - no one knows Ohio University and the Bobcat experience better than you, so we hope you take this opportunity to share your knowledge, experience, and passion for OHIO, and a few survival tips as well.
New Bobcats - we hope you take this opportunity to make a special connection with someone who was just in your shoes and can provide a unique kind of support as you start your Forever OHIO journey!
How it Works
Sign-up using the links below. We will reach out to you by early to mid-August with further instructions on joining the Bobcat Buddies Group on the Bobcat Network. Through this group, you will be paired with your mentor/mentee. Then, each week through mid-December, participants will be prompted to meet “milestones” with their buddy by discussing topics such OHIO campus life, academic resources, extra-curricular activities, community engagement, and more. We will also share information about activities and events happening for both students and alumni.
Special save the date for Bobcat Buddy participants – there will be a Buddy meet and greet during OHIO’s Homecoming, October 3-8, 2022. Stay tuned for more details!
